The day after...

I really did eat less yesterday than I have on past Christmases, but my stomach still hurt last night.  I think it is because we ended up eating entirely too late.

Dinner was not wonderful, but it was good.  Mark Bittman's brussel sprouts were not as fantastic as we had hope - but the recipe has inspired many ideas for different ways to prepare the sprouts.  Slicing them with the food processor cuts the cooking time in a serious way.

I did give myself a Christmas present of exercise.  I think it was Sunny who suggested I put on music and dance my way to better health.   I didn't actually do that, but I put on my music and used it instead of Leslie Sansone's, as I followed her program for two miles.  I think I actually got a better work out it.

I'm ready to start feeling healthy again instead of fat and bloated.  That mean eating healthfully (portion control) and working out a bit more.  I know how.

  1. Yay for dancing! And dancing to your own choice of music IS better, because you love the music, which makes the work out as much of a joy as any work out can be. Here's to a great 2010!
